Great wee find Had a delicious meal here. All courses very good. Definitely worth a visit!! mussels were fab and steak too! Deserts delicious! Wee gem!

Never judge a book by its cover.... 3 sisters and wee Mammy ate here after a walk on the beach ( on the advice of a local). It has an unassuming frontage, and, we probably would have drove right past if it hadn’t been recommended. So glad we stopped! We were served by a lovely young man named Gregor, who chose my specialty tea for me as I couldn’t decide (It was fab). 2 sisters had the black pudding and scallop special, one sister had the lasagne ( as recommended by Gregor) and wee Mammy had the fish and chips. Utterly delicious ?. It was so good we just had to have dessert ( it would have been rude not to?). 3 had fab desserts and one had a scone, rather unusually the scones were made by the chef ( we asked) they were perfect! Thanks to chef Christian, for his history lesson.PS: Let Chef know we took his advice and went home the way he suggested! Beautiful scenery.

Nice welcome. Lovely cafe. Husband had Lemon Drizzle cake. I had an Omelette. Both very nice and at sensible prices.All on one level.

Lovely lunch This has a really friendly, community feel and some great food. We popped in for lunch to sample the food. They have a good choice of soups with a roll (which I plumped for) and an omelette. All washed down with a pot of tea.

Late lunch 3 people for a very late lunch, unfortunately 2 other lunch groups were in and we waited 45 minutes for food. The big breakfast was great as was the special panini. However One tea bag in a medium tea pot was mean and weak tea was the result (yuck).

Great day out. This cafe proved to be a hidden diamond. The food, service and atmosphere was excellent. The variety of dishes offered appeared very optimistic but all our choices were prepared most competently.

Great lunch We had a half term rail trip to Scotland, and ended up on the Gourock to Kilcreggan ferry, and had lunch here, it was packed, and obviously popular, we all had a great lunch, the cafe as busy, chatty, with lots going on, and our food was spot on. Great service off the young lads, and great food and drink on a grand day out Thanks

Due to the current situation with Covid-19, we have started delivering our food to anywhere on the Rosneath Peninsula. You can also choose to come in and pickup your food in person (though we can only allow 2-3 customers within the cafe at one time and cannot allow anyone to sit-in!). You can order from our delicious delivery menu right here! Simply click on what you want to add it to your cart, then once you’ve finished, click checkout to confirm your details and pay. Our deliveries are available between 10am & 9pm – if you order outwit these times your order will be prepared and delivered during our next opening hours.
